Heathland is a processor and distributor of post-production plastic recyclables, with presence in the Netherlands, Hong Kong and China. Besides this, the company offers a collection service of scrap plastics. Heathland seeks to process materials in ways that are most advantageous for both people and environment. Materials are recycled either in-house at our factory or traded with third parties. Our internal inspection program guarantees the highest quality standards. Heathland is compliant with Regulation (EC) No 1013/2006 and certified as a collector and distributor of plastic scrap materials in the Netherlands.
One of our main goals, is to control the way in which plastics are recycled. Heathland keeps a grip on this process by regular audits (both internal and external), and by searching for innovative new ways by which plastics can be recycled.
Recycling of plastics
Heathland is active in recycling clean post-industrial plastic scrap such as ABS, PC, PET, PMMA and PS. Many of these plastics are products from the car industry and can be used as raw material for various purposes in different industry sectors. Furthermore, Heathland is recycler of multilayered plastics (co-laminated plastics).
Distribution of resins
Besides plastic scrap, Heathland distributes offgrade plastic pellets and recycled pellets. Main markets are Asia and Eastern Europe. Examples are pellets of PS, PA and PE which are of similar quality as virgin material. The materials can be used stand-alone, or blended with virgin material for various quality types.
